Welcome back to school...............................

School Dinners!!!

Above is the cauliflower and broccoli grown in our school garden that Karen then cooked last week.

Come and celebrate Diwali in October.  Everyone welcome.  Please order your lunch from the school office.

Karen is hoping to start a reward scheme soon for all the children who take school dinners.  She is also going to help when we have a meeting for parents of 'fussy eaters'.

Here are some of last year's Reception children enjoying their first school meal.  Children are encouraged to have school lunches during their first term at St Paul's.

During new paretns open evening, Karen prepared food for parents to sample.

Karen holds regular 'themed' food events, when children who usually enjoy a packed lunch are encouraged to try a school meal for the day.
We have had 'French', 'Italian', 'British' as well as a 'Ratatouille' themed meal based on the Disney film..

Recently Karen held a 'Taster Evening' when both parents and children were encouraged to come after school to enjoy some of her samples of food that she regularly makes.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and we hope to encourage more children to take up our healthy school meals by offering them for just 1 day per week in the near future.
