DISABLED AWARENESS TRAINING CO-ORDINATOR

Terri Balon brings awareness training to schools with issues such as respecting differences, name calling, bullying as well as raising awareness of disability. The children enjoyed the interactive delivery and lessons to fit in with the PSHE/Citizenship part of the curriculum.

Terri worked with Year 2 and Year 6 in our school and the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Chidren become more aware of barriers in society rather than focus on specific impairments and have more understanding of discriminatory practice and feel able to challenge it.
