WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL

Welcome back to school, we hope you all had a happy and peaceful Christmas.  We would like to wish you and your families a successful New Year.

CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISING EVENTS

A huge thank you to everyone who helped with our many fundraising events during the Christmas season.  You raised £700!  The money will be used towards funding our new ICT Suite.  This will benefit all the children in many ways.  We realise that you all have busy lives and appreciate all the time and support you have given to us.

Thank you.

SCHOOL PARKING

We must unfortunately, once again, remind parents/carers that when you are bringing your child to school and collecting them you must NOT use the school car park.  The school car park is private property and therefore you will not be covered by insurance in case of an accident.

The safety of our children is of paramount importance to us and the constant flow of traffic in the school grounds if dangerous.

Please use the main road and walk around to the school gates.

MRS SELLEY

From Monday 14th January Mrs Selley will be absent from school for a short while due to having a minor operation.

During this time Year 1 will be taught by Mrs Matthews.

BISHOP VISIT

We are very pleased that the Bishop of Warrington will be visiting our school on Friday 18th January.

During his visit he will be officially opening our refurbished gardens and having lunch with the children.

F.O.S.P.P.S.

Tuesday, 15th January 2008 ,

We would like to invite all parents/carers to our next meeting.  If you would like to have some input into the running of the school then you are invited to attend.  We always achieve the best results when the school, children, parents and grandparents all work together.

FRENCH LESSONS

If any parent is interested in their child learning French at lunchtime, the next course of French lessons with Le Club Français will be starting next Thursday.  If you are interested in your child having lessons please contact school for further details.
