WOWs Art Exhibition
Our school took part in the above exhibition and if you didn't manage to get along to see the artwork we have taken some pictures to view on our website. Many thanks to Mrs Atherton & Mrs Savage for their excellent display of the children's work.
Once the display boards are returned to school we will be able to exhibit within school.
WALK OF WITNESS:
Thanks to all who took part on Sunday despite the torrential rain. Pictures can be seen on our website.
SPORTS DAY
Many apologies but unfortunately due to the severe weather once again we have had to cancel Sports Day. We are planning next year to hold Sports Day in early June in the hope that the weather will be better.
OPEN DAY -
Thursday 5th July for parents who feel they need to discuss their child's progress, Places are limited. Full Open Day will be in the Autumn Term when all parents will be invited to attend.
PE
St Paul's has just been awarded the SSCO Gold Award for 2 hours of high quality PE and Sport provision per child per week. Congratulations to Mr Holland for all his hard work and to Mr Duncalf from Hawkley High School for all his help.
CELEBRATION OF LEARNING
Thursday 12th July - 6pm. 2 tickets will be provided for each family. Parents are welcome to stay behind after the service for tea/coffee and a chat with Mrs Rylance.
Our Attendance Certificates and Sporting Awards will be presented during Assembly on Wednesday 11th July at 2pm. Parents are welcome to attend but spaces are limited.
ECO
The Grand Arcade in Wigan is holding an eco-exhibition from the 2nd of July to the 16th of July to celebrate the fact that it is the first carbon neutral shopping centre in the world.

Congratulations to all Eco Guardians and especially Mr Duncan for all their hard work that has enabled us to be awarded the Silver Award.
MRS RYLANCE'S EARLY RETIREMENT
As you all know Mrs Rylance will be retiring at the end of the Summer term. If anyone would like to donate towards her leaving gift then please contact the office.
KS2 SATS RESULTS
Once again our SATs results are excellent. We are particularly pleased with our English results which were the best we have ever achieved. This was one of our Ofsted targets.
LUNCHTIME SUPERVISORS
There is a vacancy for a Lunchtime Supervisor in September. If anyone is interested please contact Mrs Jackson as soon as possible.
VOLUNTEERS IN SCHOOL
If any mums, dads, grandmas, granddads have any spare time and would like to help in school please contact Mrs Jackson.
DINNER MONEY
From next term Dinner money will now be £1.80 per day. Therefore £7.20 will need to be paid on Friday 13th July for the 4 days in September.
SUMMER HOLIDAYS
BUMBLEBEES
Bumblebees are now taking bookings for their Summer playscheme.
They will be open for the full 7 week holiday period with plenty of activities and day trips out.
Opening times will be 8.00am to 5.30pm.

Summer Fun French or Fun Spanish Drama Clubs

and re-opens on
Tuesday 4th September 2007
Once again our Attendance target is 97.3 and we must advise parents against taking holidays during term time as this will adversely affect their education.
