Ofsted
Thanks for the support during Ofsted. The report will be ready shortly and we are sure it will reflect the many positive elements of our school and provide pointers for future development.
World Book Day
World Book Day is on Thursday 1st March. We would like our pupils to bring in a special book of their choice to share with the rest of the class.
Playground
The improvements to the playground are nearly finished. The trim trail, tables and mushrooms look lovely and the new soft play and climbing area for Reception is steadily taking shape and promises to be super. Have a look on our website under latest pictures this week to see what has been happening.
School Kitchen
In the next few weeks we will be having a major refit of the school kitchen. All the equipment will be upgraded and the work surfaces changed to stainless steel. During this time we will still be serving hot meals and we will share the arrangements with you as soon as we have liaised with MCCS.
Headlice
Please could all parents check their children's hair for hairlice As we know this time of year is especially favoured by headlice but regular checks and prompt action with appropriate medicated shampoo and a headlice comb can prevent the headlice from spreading.
Barnardos
During this Lenten time we hope that families of school can support our Dr Barnardos appeal
Our school has now achieved Healthy School Status and we thank Mrs Rylance, Mrs Walsh and our Healthy Schools Team for all their input and hard work.
Book Fair
Scholastic book fair will be in school Thursday 15th and Friday 16th of March The £1 world book day book tokens can be used at this event. All money raised will go towards school funds and the purchase of more library books for our school library.
