FUNDRAISING
Thank you to everyone who has supported the Christmas Fayre. We raised over £1000 including £250 donated by Bradford & Bingley. The money raised will be going towards our library update and refurbishment.
We have also received a donation of £30 from the Gregory and Evans families who raised this by Carol Singing.

GIRL'S NETBALL
As part of the SSCO sports initiative, every Wednesday from 10th February, we will be having various sporting activities provided by a qualified coach. She is also providing an after school netball club for interested girls in Year 5 and Year 6. Please send back the attached form on the newsletter if you wish your child to attend.
FOOTBALL TRAINING & Mr Holland
Due to Mr Holland having minor surgery during this week he will be taking the rest of this half term off to recuperate. During this period Mr Holland's class will be taught by Mrs Myers. As he will also be unable to run his after school football practice, we would greatly appreciate it if any parent would like to volunteer to run the football practice during his absence.
GIRL'S FOOTBALL
This re-commences on Monday after school 3.30 to 4.30 pm with Caroline Leach who is a qualified football coach. Please ensure your child has the appropriate clothing and that they are picked up promptly at 4.30 pm.
FRENCH CLUB
Madame Belshaw will be running a French Class on Thursday lunchtimes from 12.30 to 1.00 pm. This will run for 10 weeks at a cost of £3.45 per session. This club is open to all pupils from Reception to Year 6 and focuses upon conversational French. If any pupil is interested please see Mrs Bibby for further details.
