FUNDRAISING
Thank you to everyone who has supported the school this term. We raised:
£213 for Children in Need
£415 on the Sponsored Football Initiative
£300.63 on the Special School disco.
The money from the football initiative and Special School Disco will go towards the refurbishment of the library. We thank Mrs Cooke, Mrs Wallace and all her helpers for the time and effort put into the fundraising for the school disco and Mr Ryder for giving freely of his time.
CHRISTMAS SERVICE ? 'The Best Present of All'
Thank you to all parents and children who attended this enjoyable evening.
The school choir have also been asked to sing at the torchlight Carol Service in Church on Sunday 17th December at 6.30 pm
CHRISTMAS CONCERT
We hope all our Senior Citizens and grandparents enjoyed our Tuesday afternoon concert as much as we did.
CHRISTMAS FAYRE 15th December from 3.15 pm
Our school Christmas Fayre is on Friday from 3.15 pm. We hope that you can attend. Special attractions include Father Christmas in his Grotto, Mrs Wallace?s cake stall, raffle provided and organised by Bradford and Bingley, and Mrs Evans? Christmas Pot stall.
If you would like to support us we still need items for the tombola, wrapped gifts to the value of £1 labelled boy, girl, lady, man, grocery items and toys. You can send your items into school via the pupils or give them to Mrs Cooke or Mrs Evans.
Bradford and Bingley are sponsoring this event. If we can raise £250 they will match it with another £250!!
SCHOOL DINNERS
Dinner money on Friday will be for 6 days, so £10.20 will need to be paid that includes 3 dinners for next week as well as 3 dinners for the week we return to school in the New Year.
All children requesting a Christmas Lunch on Monday 18th December should have now sent in their money in a named envelope.
SWIMMING
There will be no swimming lesson on Monday 18th December. Year 4 will continue with swimming lessons after the Christmas break until the February half term. From February half term Year 3 plus invited children from Year 4 will then continue until the end of the summer term
GIRLS FOOTBALL
For all those who signed up for girls football with Caroline Leach, the course will start on Mon 8th January from 3.30 to 4.30 pm. Sensible clothing to be worn, activities will be outside if the weather is fine or inside if it is wet. Please remember your water bottles in order to keep hydrated.
