Activity Morning
Key Stage 2: Monday 19th June . From 9.45am
This year Parents are invited to Activity Morning. We will be asking for donations of 20p on the gate and all money raised will go towards the purchase of ICT equipment for school. Please remember this is a very complicated event for staff to organise because there are so many children doing so many different things. If we all follow the guidelines below I am sure that everyone will have a very enjoyable time.
- Please help by allowing your child to follow the instructions given by staff.
- Due to the lack of space we will be unable to provide chairs and we respectfully request that you do not bring your own deckchairs.
- Please keep young children under control. If they stray into games or races they could be injured.
- Remember the importance of the event is the taking part not winning. Please cheer for all the children. Each child is trying their hardest.
- All decisions regarding results are final.
- Please do not bring drinks or snacks for your child. School will provide all children with a drink.
- Do not disrupt races or games by going up to your child. Be mindful that we have a lot to get through in a short space of time.
- If it is a very sunny day please apply sun-block before your child comes into school and provide a hat.
Unfortunately if it rains we will need to cancel the event, and due to a congested timetable will not be able to re-invite parents.
Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1: Thursday, 29th June: From 9.45am
Thank you for your continued support.
Healthy Award News
A big thanks to Galloways for providing a -pretend cake- which we are now using to celebrate birthdays in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. The children also receive a personalised Birthday card. This is all part of our drive towards achieving Healthy School accreditation, by exploring other ways to celebrate birthdays. This suggestion came from the Healthy Team
The water in school initiative is progressing very well. Many children are choosing to bring in water.
Parking
May we ask parents to park their cars respectfully around the FreeMason Arms. Unfortunately a minority of parents are parking their cars without sufficient thought and deliveries have not been able to be made.
Summer Fayre
Thank you to everyone for their support of the Summer Fayre. We had a wonderful day and all money raised will go towards the purchase of ICT equipment.
