Mathematics
In order to enhance our excellent provision, in the subject of Maths, teachers have been working together to team plan and teach. This provides a sharing opportunity of good practice and follows a series of staff meetings lead by our Numeracy consultant Sarah Carroll. She will be teaching alongside our teachers in various classrooms in the coming weeks.
Summer Fete - Sat 10th June
In order that we can also support England in the World Cup -it has been decided to bring the start time forward to 12 Noon.
This is an excellent day for fun as well as fund-raising. We do need help, however, to make it a success.
Ways to help:
? Those of you who may wish to help on the day itself - please contact school.
? Donate items to sell on our stalls.
e.g. bric-a-brac, tinned items etc
? Raffle Prizes
? Ideas for new stalls would be most welcome
OR
? You could simply buy some raffle tickets and come on the day and enjoy yourself!

French
As from September French will be taught in KS2 on Thurs afternoons. The French Club will continue after school on the same day.
Key Stage 2 Redecoration
This is now complete with new blinds and has created a bright and uplifting atmosphere in the school. The refurbishment of the office is also complete although this was tarnished last weekend by a break-in! The main damage was caused to the roof and ceiling, which was the source of the entrance! We ask for your co-operation in keeping an eye on the school at evenings and weekends. If you do see suspicious characters on the roof it is best not to confront but to report them to the Police.
